About Lana Parks: Your Trusted Guide to Emerald Coast

Lana Parks knows what it’s like to move around the country. She was born and raised in Honolulu,  Hawaii, moved to Bend, Oregon in 2001, to Gulf Breeze, Florida in 2006, and finally to Fort Walton  Beach, Florida in 2018. Lana also understands the military moving process - Permanent Change of  Station (PCS).

Not only is she designated a Military Relocation Professional (MRP) and a Florida Military  Specialist (FMS), but she also served for 15 years in the Army Reserve. 

A realtor for 10 years, Lana also has the distinction of having been a licensed contractor during her time  in Oregon. She worked for a home builder overseeing the superintendents and project managers and  was a painting contractor for three years. Buyers and sellers working with Lana have the additional  benefit of knowing Lana looks beyond just the cosmetic attributes of a home.

Being raised in Hawaii has formed Lana’s professional work ethic. She works with the “spirit of Aloha”.  While many know Aloha as a Hawaiian greeting, it means much more. There’s a legend that says  Hawaiian children were taught the meaning of Aloha with the following acronym: 

A: “Akahai,” kindness, expressed with tenderness 

L: “Lokahi,” unity, expressed with harmony 

O: “Oluolu,” agreeable, expressed with pleasantness 

H: “Haahaa,” humility, expressed with modesty 

A: “Ahonui,” patience, expressed with perseverance 

Passionate about helping people find a home, Lana takes this responsibility seriously. She is committed  to a personal and professional life of compassion, kindness, happiness, humility, and perseverance. 

Lana has three daughters and four grandchildren. She enjoys fishing and reading real estate and self improvement books. Though she has lived on a boat traveling to the Bahamas, Dominican Republic,  Turks and Caicos Islands, and Puerto Rico; skydiving remains on her bucket list. 

She ends her emails with the word “Mahalo”. It means to live in gratitude. 

Born and raised in Honolulu, Lana Parks currently resides in Destin, Florida, where she works as a real estate professional. She serves communities along the Emerald Coast.

Lana works with a variety of customers but is particularly interested in serving first- and second-time homebuyers, investors, military customers, and veterans. Intent on delivering exceptional customer care, she provides thorough guidance throughout the buying and selling processes. 

Prior to pursuing her career as a real estate agent, Lana worked in the construction industry, completing hotel renovations at a global hotel chain in Hawaii. Through this position, she honed her project management skills. Licensed in Florida since 2016, Lana has also worked in Hawaii and Oregon. In the latter, she worked in residential development and new construction, combining her construction background with her real estate credentials. 

Passionate about expanding her professional skill set, Lana holds certifications as a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, Real Estate Negotiation Expert, Pricing Strategy Adviser, Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist, and Military Relocation Professional. She is also fluent in Cantonese. Attentive to her customers’ unique needs, she strives to create a professional working environment predicated on integrity, respect, reliability, and compassion.
